I’m super excited about the tour starting next week. It’s been too long since we did a proper tour of Britain (Scotland, I see you, Lost Evenings on the books and more news coming soon). Plus we have the mighty Amigo The Devil along for the ride as well. The tour is edging up to sold out, a lot of the shows have gone already, so get involved while you can with the others.
You may have seen recently that I decided to throw the opening slot for each show to a local unsigned act. It’s been absolutely wild since we asked for submissions for that. Well over 250 of you applied, and I listened through to every single one. I have to say that I realised pretty quickly that I’d arguably made an error. That’s because the standard across the board was so damn high, it was agonising choosing only one person for each show, and having to turn down so many people really sucked. All the same, I really enjoyed listening to so much new music, so many new voices, and have a lot of new favourites.
