It is with great pleasure that I can finally announce the supports for the massive UK tour coming up next February. It’s miles and away the biggest run of shows that the Sleeping Souls and I have ever undertaken, so it’s nice to know that we will be in the company of old friends – not only in the crowd but also on the stage.

Flogging Molly took us on our first ever US full-band tour back in 2010 and we’ve been compadres ever since; they’re also one of my favourite live acts and an all-round killer band. In the unlikely event of you not knowing their stuff, I’d heartily recommend checking them out, brushing up on the tunes and getting ready to dance.

Beans On Toast, my old buddy Jay, is probably a familiar face to many of you. Jay was one of the people who persuaded me to play acoustic guitar at Nambucca back in 2005, and we’ve shared many miles of the road together since in different parts of the world. It just wouldn’t be right to head out on a tour like this without having him around to kick the night off in style.
