Hello everyone. So, hitting the road around the UK this week, it’s been a (little) while. It feels good to be hitting home soil, as ever, and sold out shows are always fun. Three little things around the tour to let you know about…
– First up, supports for all UK shows are Larry & His Flask and George Frakes. As ever, I picked them myself and love their music, so I’d recommend getting down early.
– Secondly, if anyone has spare tickets they want to exchange, use the hashtag #fthctickets on Twitter. I always want tickets to go to a good home, but don’t want to clog up everyone’s Twitter feeds. Also, please try and keep it to face value (or plus booking fee), I’m not interested in helping out touts.
– Thirdly, a little bit of fun. We’ve made up a tour flag. It’ll be handed over to you, the great British public, at the first show (Manchester). The idea is that we all show the flag a good time around the country throughout the tour, using only the spirit of community (or something). I want you fine folks to take it to each of the cities – Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and London – and let it see the sights, as well as making it to the shows. We want photos, stories, tags, whatever, and I’ll be checking up on it daily too.
Probably the hardest part will be getting it from one city to another, so if you’re heading to more than one show or can help out another way, get involved. Head over to my Facebook, or use the hashtag #fthcflag on Twitter, and let’s see if we can make this work.
